Anna Silk
Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is a Canadian actress best known for her part as Bo from the Showcase television series Lost Girl. Silk was born in Fredericton New Brunswick, Canada. Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk are parents of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright as well as director, and she teaches the art of drama for St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna can remember watching her mother working and going to the rehearsals for her plays. Silk appeared in several commercials when she was a kid. She was a graduate of St. Thomas University with an Associate of Arts degree in 1997. Early theater work includes at least two productions with Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk was able to move from Toronto in the fall of 1999 in the month of November 1999 to Los Angeles California to pursue her career as an actor. She met her future spouse, Seth Cooperman, at an actor's workshop in Los Angeles in 2007. They got married the year 2009 and wed during a civil ceremony December that same year. The couple was married on April 10, 2011. renewed their vows in the Jewish wedding ceremony held in Fredericton after Silk converted to Judaism. Silk got a baby with the name of Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13 2013. Levi Aaron, her second son was born on May 13 the 13th of May, 2016. Silk has several role on television, including Cassidy Holland from Being Erica. The actress was nominated to win an award called the Gemini for this role in 2009. Silk was cast as Bo Dennis, a succubus in the Canadian Television show Lost Girl in 2009. Silk was pregnant during filming the season three finale. In January 2013, she revealed this to the viewers during Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special. Silk confirmed via Twitter on 20 June 2013 that the show was coming back to production. The fourth season debuted in June of 2013 through Showcase and Prodigy Pictures. CNN listed Bo's role as Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most popular television couples of all time. E! Magazine also declared it to be the most popular TV couple of 2013. Entertainment Television. Due to the show's popularity, Silk has gained a large audience on social networks.
