Rene Marie Russo is an American actor, filmmaker, and a former supermodel. Her elegant and beautiful beauty Marie can be seen in her lengthy career as an actor and actress. In the 70s, she began her modeling career, and soon established herself as one of the top names in this field. After completing her acting studies Russo started her modeling career at the age of Los Angeles. In 1987, Russo portrayed Eden Kendell on ABC's show Sable. Rose Namajunas is one of the female athletes with the highest success in the UFC. She began her professional career as an amateur athlete participating in various regional promotion before signing with Invicta Fighting Championships. And later she joined Ultimate Fighting Championships. The fighter has gained plenty of recognition since joining the UFC because of her on and off the octagon's success. Namajunas is a Lithuanian immigrant who was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on June 29, 1992. Rose participated in basketball and kickboxing as she grew into a young woman. At 18 years old she made her professional debut for Invicta Fighting Championships at which she fought two times through submission. It caught the attention of Dana White who signed her to join UFC Strawweight at the age of twenty-two years of age. Rose has experienced highs and lows throughout her professional career, yet she always emerges with a victory. Rose took on Carla Esparza on April 15 of 2015 to win the Women s Strawweight Championship. Rose beat Esparza with a technical knockout within just under 3 minutes the Round One. Rose not only won the championship but was named Fighter Of The Night. Rose also made MMA history with this match because she became the first woman to challenge to win the title of champion within an organization that is a major one. After this win, Namajunas continued to win other victories in which she defeated Joanna Jedrzejczyk twice which earned her Performance Of The Night honors from UFC after these wins .
